Mixed Media workshops with Julia Pallone. In these three one-day workshops, we'll look at different art movements, in order to gain an understanding of today's artistic context, through practical mixed media art projects.
The workshops are designed to feed yuor creativity, develop your ability to observe, and to have fun making art without the fear of technical issues. They are suitable for those with and without experience.
Mail Art
Through the study of the surealistic movement, we will create ornate envelopes, using a wide variey of techniques and materials such as ink, stencil and collage.
Land Art
This workshop will investigate the Land Art Movement (Art and Nature) and will involve making a range of drawings, from small scale to large, incorporating dried flowers/plants and found objects from nature.
Architecture in Art
Through the study of different building designs and styles from around the world and of the city landscape, students on this workshop will create their own cityscapes using a variety of media, make drawings and produce silhouettes of imaginary and real landscapes using paper cutting techniques.
