In 2008, Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre expanded its gallery space on two floors to include a huge reception room and exhibition space which allows for 2D and 3D work indoors and outdoors. Following our launch exhibition, this large gallery is open to the public throughout the year and will hold rotating exhibitions of artists' work from across Ireland. The gallery is available for artists to book an exhibition (for further details, email Adrian Wistreich).
Adrian Wistreich’s work to date includes a variety of figurative sculptures in fired clay, cement and fibreglass and plaster, both indoor and outdoor work, thrown and hand-built ceramics including some one-off pieces of tableware. In the last two years, Adrian has been concentrating on teapots and sculptural ceramics, developing themes from early sculpture and traditional designs, as well as exploring a range of decorative techniques. While Adrian participates in exhibitions on a regular basis, the pottery is open to visitors, and artwork is for sale all year round.
