Children’s Art Classes

We run weekly art classes for children on Friday (4.30-6.00pm) or Saturday mornings (11.15-12.45pm) during term-times in terms of 6 weeks. We aim to give children experience of all the basic pottery techniques, plus painting, drawing and a range of craft skills. In these classes, students will be guided through projects from sculpting, slab pottery and coiling to painting murals, collage, mask-making, glass painting and tie-dying. Each term includes at least 50% of the classes in the pottery. The classes are tailored to suit children between 5 and 14, and must be book for a full term at a time.
