Weekend courses for Children |

Down to Earth Art
A series of four workshops using entirely natural and home-made materials and tools - preparing dyes and pigments, making termpera paint, drawing on slate, hand-made paper, dried flowers, flour paste. Each workshop last 3 hours, and it is possible to take one, two, three or all four in one weekend - there is a discount for all four.
1. Sea - working with sand, different coloured seaweed, salt, shells
2. Field - working with straw, grasses, feathers, mud, corn husks and other pulses
3. Hedgerow - taking thorns, sticks, flowers and stems
4. Forest - using twigs, nut shells, dried leaves, bark and fir cones |

These weekends run mornings (10-1pm) or afternoons (2-5pm), and are suitable for children aged 5 plus (mosaics for those aged 10 plus).

Prices: Mosaic-making (2 half-days) €50 per child
Down to Earth workshops €25 each or €80 for all four
