Is This a Poem??
|
October 10th 2009 |
| with Afric Hamilton |
10am to 5pm €95 |
 |
This entertaining one-day workshop will focus on taking some of your brilliant ideas, and transforming them into a variety of poems, using different forms and techniques. First, we will look at the poems of some contemporary poets, with a view to studying how they have created an original voice, and then emulate their techniques. (As Isabel Allende once put it, copying one artist is plagiarism, copying many is research!) If you would like to experiment with the wonderful genre of poetry, but haven't much experience, this course is for you. |
