The Centre has been running childrens weekly art classes for 9 years, and many children attend these classes for several years before graduating to adult pottery or drawing!

Children love to know what to expect each week and to look forward to meeting their friends and taking part in arts and crafts activities. We provide after-school classes in arts and crafts, poetry and performance in terms of 8-10 weeks. Classes last for 90 minutes, and run them from 3.30 (primary scho0ol age groups) or 4.30pm (secondary school age groups).

We take children aged 5 plus and we aim to focus the age group attending each class. Class sizes rarely exceed 10 children. Sibling discounts apply to bookings and we encourage children to bring school friends, although our catchment for the weekly classes is quite large and children from 15-20 schools attend.
