This short course aims to provide basic skills for artists to document their work in order to better market their work to both funding bodies and general public through publishing work in bodies such as Youtube and creating DVD's. It goes through the basic mechanics of the video camera, lighting techniques, basic sound and post-production to in order to be able to publish online as well as making DVD's.

Student requirements: Wanting to learn and be willing to engage in hands-on work. No equipment required.

An award-winning Irish documentary film- maker, with a BA in Documentary Film and Television as well as MA in Film Production from University of Wales, Newport. Currently runs his own small production company and contributes regularly to both Dublin Community Television and Cork Community Television.
